love poem (2)
Jul 04/09
written April 2008
when the sun dips
below the rosy sea,
and nightingales sing
their sultry melody,
the night unfolds
with surreal grace,
each timid petal
gleaming with dewy lace.
hours will pass,
and though night turns to day,
the twilit beauty of the dusk
will forever stay.
while the stars will
chase the moon
until the sun
brings morning's tune
dreams will linger on
and the memory of the night
will be refreshed
by every twinkling light
